Gladstone's new concept, the G78 is a de-airing pugmill which means it is equipped with a vacuum which will help remove air bubbles from the clay. It is made with high-quality materials such as stainless steel shaft/mixing blades, so it is resistant to corrosion. It has more power than the 'E' models having 0.55kW (3/4 hp) with a 75mm diameter extrusion, therefore it can be used as a real workhorse in the productive studio or educational environment. There are some safety features which make it popular with schools and colleges, for instance, it does not need continuous feeding with clay, simply loading the large hopper, close the lid and the pugmill will do the rest. This means you are not encountering moving parts. If the lid is lifted it will automatically cut off, all designed to BSEN standard. The pugmill also has a thermal overload system which shuts down the motor if the appliance overheats.

Do not use extension cables with this product.
*The warranty covers replacement parts which fail without fault or misuse by the user. Failed parts must be returned to Hot Clay before replacements are sent. Gladstone or Hot Clay will not pay shipping for the return of the failed part, but we will pay for the shipping of the replacement part.
This applies only to goods sold within the UK. For other countries, the warranty only covers parts and not shipping.
