I have bought items from HotClay before and have never had a problem. The last order I placed arrived quickly but unfortunately it was damaged in the post. I contacted HotClay and Demi was very understanding and helpful and sent out a replacement immediately. So I felt relieved as it was a big heavy item.
Unfortunately there was a problem with the courier. (no fault of HotClay) I contacted HotClay again and Demi yet again was understanding, friendly and professional. The courier should have given me details but didn’t, so when I spoke with Demi, she gave me details and from that I was able to pick up my order from a nearby shop.
Thank you Demi for giving amazing customer support. I think HotClay customer support is an excellent example to other pottery suppliers. I will continue to buy from HotClay.
As always, the order is perfect and I am excited to try the new clay.
I would buy so much more from Hot Clay if the extra Scotland delivery surcharge wasn't added when the rest of the UK is free over £60- especially as I live on the mainland

Vitraclay for throwing is particularly good, especially if your hands don’t work as well as they used to. I found it much easier for wedging. It fires true to description. Hot lay. SIMPLY THE BEST.

I read the reviews before I got this kiln and got the exact same experience most people on here describe! Really helpful customer service who got back to me with all my questions with detailed and really helpful answers and then delivery was all fine and smooth for me too. Used this kiln for 3 firings so far and has been so far so good!
