A gorgeous colour glaze

The sangria floating glaze was tested on a cup made with the Sibelco spotted clay to 1200c and thought it looked a bit wishy washy. Tried again using two/three coats on the Sibelco scandi clay, again fired to 1200c and it looks so fabulous, pinky, orangey, reddy. Initially, I was a bit hesitant as I'd heard the glaze could run but all fine so far.

nice colour but better on texture

I bought the smaller jar to test this as I wasn't sure about the colour. It is pretty and two coats (see image) gives a mottled effect. It breaks nicely on texture. The image of the bottom of the dish also shows the effects of about a layer of about 1cm of Spectrum pearl white on the rim. The inside of the dish is 2x Sangria with 1x Spectrum pearl white over. Smooth and shiny.
