An invaluable procedure in glaze/slurry making is the labelling of the buckets. It’s easy to forget and get confused between many slurries which all look the same. Writing on the bucket can be done but if you have limited buckets but you might find it hard work scrubbing it off to re-use. Use a label, much easier to write on and it’s easy to change.

Hot Clay Tip: never identify a slurry by writing on the lid alone, lids can end up on other buckets and that could lead to a mistake.
