A sturdy plastic spray gun with reservoir, ready to accept a compressor. The kit includes a ‘trigger’ to which a hose can be connected to a compressor.
The nozzle and valve are made of bronze, so resistant to corrosion from ceramic materials. It comes with a secondary smaller reservoir 55ml. Therefore there is no requirement to make more glaze than necessary.
The standard reservoir capacity is 750ml. The standard adjustable nozzle is 0.8mm which is good for thin glazes/slurries with stains and oxides.
It is recommended that mixtures be sieved prior to use with a 100# mesh.
Hot Clay recommends thin glaze/slurries approx. 1.2 specific gravity.
Make sure you clean your spray gun thoroughly after use.
