Please note - You will need to measure your wheel head to ensure that this product will fit as manufacturers do allow for a degree of tolerance. Suitable for wheel heads with a diameter of 305mm.
The Over-The-Wheel Tile Batt System is designed to be slightly larger than the measurement of your wheel head. This is to make it easier to apply and remove from your wheel head. It is normal to have slight movement when first applied, the Stay-Put Batt Rug is designed to soak up any movement once the wheel is spinning, and has been successfully tested throwing up to 10kg of clay.

Can't recommend this bat system enough! I bought it for my old Ratcliffe & Sons pottery wheel which it fits perfectly and exactly as described. I have been throwing for a little while but was getting frustrated at altering pieces when I was cutting them off the wheel and impatient to wait for them to firm up a bit before I could remove and throw my next piece. This is no longer a problem as I can simply pop them off and leave them to the side, instantly adding a new bat and throwing again. Throwing frustration has instantly been resolved and now I can't stop throwing things as I love it so much! The bats are well made and the inserts fit well. The MDF seems to have a coating on it making it more durable than standard MDF. The bats are easy to clean, I recommend throwing, leaving them until they firm up for a few hours and then wiring them off and cleaning the bats to maintain their life span. I never leave mine soaked in water, I wash them, dry them and then stand them up in a drying rack to air out at room temp. I really love this product, it's worth the money!!
