Replacement wires are available in either straight or curly designs. The Mudcutter is slightly larger than the Carving Bow, thus the wires are specific for each tool.

This is a brilliant wire cutter with the wire cutting down to the edge of the frame. I use it for stack and slam wire wedging - when many repeat cut of the clay block down to the board are required. I prefer this technique to the usual wedging techniques which are hard on the wrist - and I think that stack and slam wire wedging gives more uniform clay. I gave the price 4 stars but in fact it is worth it.
