Controller

The B500 is the standard controller, which is included in the price of the kiln. This has 5 customisable programs each with 4 segments. For a full list of features and video tutorials see the Nabertherm's 500 series page.

The C540 controller upgrade is available in the optional extras. This controller has 10 program spaces each with 20 segments. The controller is the same in all other aspects. If you are wanting to do glass, crystalline glazes, or other sophisticated glaze techniques then it is advisable to upgrade on the purchase of the kiln.

  • If marked as 'in stock' above: this kiln is available for immediate dispatch.
  • Otherwise kilns are ordered direct from Nabertherm and the current lead time is approximately 2-4 weeks. Priority is not an option for this item, all other items ordered with the kiln will be sent separately.
  • We are pleased to offer free delivery of this kiln to anywhere in the UK, as well as the following European destinations (Mainland only, not islands): Austria, France, Poland, Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Ireland, Slovenia, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Estonia, Luxembourg, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands. If you would like this kiln delivered to any destination not listed here, please contact us first before ordering.
  • Delivery is kerbside only and does not include installation. Please consider that you may need help to situate the kiln.
  • When ordering your kiln please state any access requirements at the delivery address in the special instructions.
  • Upon dispatch of the kiln, our team will be in touch to book a delivery day that is convenient with you. Delivery will be between 9am and 5pm on your nominated day unless requested otherwise. If you require a timed (AM/PM) or dedicated day (Saturday/Sunday) delivery this will incur a surcharge.

Amazing service and product

I don't normally write reviews but I just wanted to say how great the team is at Hot Clay. Super helpful with any questions you have over the phone and very informative. As for the kiln - so far I'm in love!!! Works like a dream and the app you can get on your phone that connects you to your kiln at all times is amazing (I love knowing what temperature its at when I'm away from the studio). Amazing purchase and great experience!!

Excellent

Purchased my Nabertherm top 80 just before Christmas, excellent coordination & service, arriving exactly on time and very helpful delivery service, brought the kiln through the garden to my shed. The kiln controller was a lot easier to understand the basics than I thought.

Hot clay were the cheapest all round with the free delivery that I could find.very helpful and good service, thank you.

Hot Clay were amazing, answering all my questions and giving really helpful advice which often involved my spending less money not more - really honest. They know everything about everything for the beginner/intermediates like me and patiently explain.

My new kiln is just fantastic, it is so easy to use, feels really safe and reliable. I have carried out 3 bisque and glaze firings since buying it and every one has been a great success. There is just the right amount of furniture to do a great range of things. The instructions that come with the kiln are very clear and useful.

I am as pleased as punch.

Great kiln. Excellent service.

The customer service is excellent.
If you are going to buy this kiln you need to make sure that your cable from you consumer board is 10mm. It does not plug into a household socket. You will need a 32amp commando socket with isolator as the plug on the kiln has a 32am socket.
