Rohde’s Front Loading Ergo Load System kilns are heavy duty professional kilns with 5-sided heating. It incorporates a pull out drawer or bogie, designed for precise and complicated loading and unloading without the need for bending or other manual handling difficulties. There are 2 versions of this style of kiln, one being the ELS-N and the other ELS-S.
The differences are noted here…
‘N’ top temperature 1300°C, elements in grooves, sizes include 150 litres & 200 litres.
‘S’ top temperature 1320°C, elements on rods, kW slightly higher, sizes from 150 to 1200 litres.
If you are firing at very high temperatures regularly then it would be advised to go for the ‘S’ series.
