Working Notes

A wonderfully smooth clay, creamy but firm. A delight to throw with.

The colour range goes from the dark brown to a brown black then at the higher mid-range temperature it will be come black. White, light and bright-coloured glazes would really show up well on this clay body.

Health & Safety

As the clay contains crystalline silica avoid inhaling the dust from dried out clay. Wear a P3 mask, wash hands after use and clean up using a damp sponge. Dust off dirty clothes and aprons outside.
