This is the big wheel for heavy production throwing. The motor can deliver 0.75kW (1 hp), which would allow you to throw to a ‘working weight’ of 50kg of clay.
As with the other family of large Gladstone wheels, the cabinet is beautifully crafted in polished wood reinforced with a frame. It has cast aluminium parts and fittings showing Gladstone’s quality engineering.
The wheel also has a lower height so you can choose to throw tall pots with ease. The pedal has a lever so you can adjust speed independently.
It has a one-piece splash pan with a drain hole for easy cleaning, a quiet motor, anti-clockwise and clockwise directions and high torque at low speeds. The seat height is fully adjustable and there is a shelf. The Wheel head can accommodate the ‘easy lift wheel head’, which works with either our 'Best' batts or MDF batts.
