Kilncare’s IKON V46 is a premium quality plug-in kiln made in the heart of the potteries in Stoke-on-Trent, England. This is an ideal kiln for your hobby or workshop with a 13amp plug.

The KCR32C controller is very intuitive to use and comes with 10 sample programs preinstalled.

The KCR32CWIFI controller upgrade is available in the optional extras.

If the kiln is situated in an area with a reliable source of WIFI, the WIFI enabled controller will allow you to view your firing progress and data through the kilncare webpage. This can be accessed via phone, tablet, PC or Mac.

Delivery Details

We often have this kiln with furniture set in stock so if the status is showing as 'available' please contact us to find out when our next stock is due in. Priority delivery is not available for this item.

  • We are pleased to offer Free Delivery of this kiln to anywhere in the UK.(Mainland only, not islands).
  • Delivery is kerbside only and does not include installation. Please consider that you may need help to situate the kiln.
  • Lead times for Kilncare Ikon kilns are currently estimated at 8 weeks, for any further enquiries please contact us.
  • When ordering your kiln please state any access requirements at the delivery address in the special instructions.
  • Upon dispatch of the kiln, our team will be in touch to book a delivery day that is convenient with you. Delivery will be between 9am and 5pm on your nominated day unless requested otherwise. If you require a timed (AM/PM) or dedicated day (Saturday/Sunday) delivery this will incur a surcharge.
  • If you are in a remote location or have restricted access and require a specialist vehicle, please be aware that this may incur a surcharge.
  • Custom delivery can be provided at an additional cost, although this can be very expensive. We may be able to help with advice and quotes using specialist logistical companies.

Easy to use and reliable kiln

Loved it from the first moment! It is so easy to use and very intuitive. As a beginner, I also had to play with different firings and it is so easy to amend your program.

First kiln & so far so good

Am fairly new to ceramics & after a lot of thought took the plunge & bought my first kiln - with the help of Hot-clay’s technical team & their videos I went for the British made IKON V46. Delivery was smooth & the driver helpful. It was a case of plug in & follow the instruction book - the controller with pre-set programmes is straightforward and the 3 firings I have done so far gone to plan - it might be a while before I need to attempt setting my own programme! I had some concerns about the cost of firing with current energy prices but have been pleasantly surprised - it’s a very efficient and well insulated kiln. I called the Technical team at Hot-clays with a query on the glaze firing & they were really helpful so am very pleased with the Kiln and service - I would definitely recommend.

First kiln

I’ve had this kiln since may 2022, so easy to use (not scary at all). Great size and with the shelves you can fit loads in. If pieces are taller just use without second shelf. Reliable, clean, sleek, well built (uk built), robust lid and wheels ( that lock). Pre set programs can be adjusted to add soak time. I’m successfully firing earthenware and stoneware (separately) but also capable of firing higher.

Excellent kiln

This kiln is great and fairly easy to use. It’s very economical to run and very well insulated. So minimal heat loss. Still working out the optimal temperature for glaze firing as it holds the heat well and can be fired a little lower than standard. Great advice from Mike on buying options. The delivery driver was fantastic and delivered to my Garage. I have had 5 star service from Hot clay and will continue to purchase my pottery supplies from them.
