Good throwing and hand building clay

I am new to textured clay, and found this clay easy to work with. It is forgiving both when throwing and hand building.

Love It

Always works at high or low temps. Wouldn’t use any other smooth black clay.

Lovely feel, beautiful colour.

This feels so lovely on your hands, like butter. I hand-build and have found it very forgiving . I have tried other brands black clay, this is far superior.

not much plasticity

I was excited to use this clay, but found it a bit flakey and without much plasticity- so it wasn't as nice to use as other clays I've worked with. However, the fired result was good, and so that has made me feel better about using it again. It is a lovely colour when fired!
