This glaze is the correct consistency for brush-on application, where 2-3 applications are required, but if thinned slightly with water it will work for pouring or dipping.
Firing Range
All samples in images have been fired to 950°c. However, there are a number of variables with Raku firing, so outcomes may differ.
Working Notes
The attached sample should only be used as a colour guide, as there are so many factors that affect the outcome of Raku fired pieces.

Lead free and non-toxic.
Good housekeeping is essential in any pottery studio to minimise inhalation of silica dust. Always clean up with a damp sponge and if any dust from the dried brush-on is airborne. wear an FFP3 mask.
Raku fired pieces are not considered food safe. This is due to the fragility of the pieces as the clay will not have reached its full maturing temperature, as well as the possibility of bacteria growth in the cracks made during the Raku firing.
