The Mayco Stoneware collection includes highly consistent mid-range glazes and gives artists endless possibilities of different textures and colours for stoneware projects. The movement of the glaze is designed to create a flowing and unique pattern, without running off your ceramics.
For full coverage, use 2-3 coverings. Allow each to dry before applying the next.
Firing Range
Suitable for stoneware clay, the glaze is designed to be fired to 1230°C (cone 6) but can be fired up to 1300°C (cone 10).

Lead free and non-toxic.
Good housekeeping is essential in any pottery studio to minimise inhalation of silica dust. Always clean up with a damp sponge and if any dust from the dried brush-on is airborne. wear an FFP3 mask.

Love this glaze looks good on speckled clay doesn’t run
I loved the idea of a pink glaze and it does work fairly well on white stoneware (Sibelco Smooth White Throwing Clay). I glaze fire to 1240 and I had to layer it on quite thickly, at least 3 - 4 coats in order for it to retain the darker pink colour, otherwise it tends to fade out to a light pink / white. I also tried using it on the Sibelco Scandi Clay, but barely any pink remained after firing even though I did a really thick layer of glaze - which is a shame as it is quite expensive!
