Beautiful porcelain

A really super porcelain to work with. I make very little objects and it is easy to use.

My favourite

I tried a couple of different porcelain bodies and this is my favourite. It’s very clean in throwing, not much slurry, quite hard during trimming, not sagging. It has a creamy white colour, not the Snow White, when fired and at higher temperatures becomes beautifully translucent. I just love it. I fire it to about 1200C and it vitrifies perfectly well.

A joy to use!

I am new to this ceramics lark, and have slip cast and used general purpose clays. This Porcelain was a revelation! It was like rolling out a very good pastry! It was just brilliant. Used for hand building and again, it was excellent. It’s in the kiln now, but so far I love it.

Royal Porcelain

This was my first attempt at using porcelain and I love it. Just beautiful. I’ve been afraid for so long and now I’m wondering what I’m going to use my stoneware for!! I use the hand build /slab methods. Stunning with celadons !
